SVG Cutting Files
I am playing around with creating SVG files to use on my cricut machine. Check out some pictures of what I have created. All are available on my website.

Make your cricut mat sticky again!
I've found an easy way to make my Cricut cutting mats sticky again. First I clean all the old gunk off of the mat with a soft scrubber and dish soap. Then I took just about equal parts of Aleene's Tack It Over and Over Glue and water. (I actually used a tad less water than the glue) Then apply a thin layer to your dried Cricut mat and let it dry 15-20 minutes or so. Be sure to keep using the protective plastic on the mat after each use to prolong the life of the mat. It's hard to say how long this will last before having to do it again - that all depends on your usage. I actually do it pretty frequently as I use my Cricut everyday. But it's a lot less expensive to buy the glue than it is to buy the mats!

Scrapbooking Tip
I love the popped up look of stickers and embellishments on a page or a card. One of my favorite tricks to do this is to take a cardstock sticker and remove the "stick" by rubbing baby powder on the back of it. Then I use a foam square or a pop up glue dot to adhere it to the page - it's an instant embellishment!
